It’s great to see businesses take greater responsibility for their environmental impact and in recent years, reforestation projects have proven to be popular. With the UK government, environmental organisations, and local communities championing large-scale tree planting projects.

For businesses, these represent a unique opportunity, not only supporting our wider environment but also unlocking a range of benefits. From enhancing corporate social responsibility (CSR) credentials to providing meaningful team building experiences, the advantages of getting involved in reforestation are clear.

Which is why, a few years ago, NCZ proudly partnered with the Forest of Marston Vale Trust and other protected woodland partners throughout England, to create our “Tree in a Million” campaign.

The aim of this is to plant 10,000 trees over a 5-year period, delivering over £1 million of benefit to the UK. Based on results from an academic study commissioned by the Forest of Marston Vale Trust on behalf of, and with support from the Forestry Commission and Natural England, showing that every £1 spent on reforestation delivers approximately £11 of environmental, social and economic benefit to the UK.

Each of our planting events is half a day and includes food and refreshments for up to 15 people, with full supervision at our planting site.

Alternatively, if you’re not so keen on getting your hands dirty, you can sponsor a tree, or trees, with our one-off donation, or set up a regular payment. Then our team will make sure your trees get planted on your behalf. Explore this option further here…
