Recognising the necessity for a distinct certification process to accurately measure and define levels of carbon management and reporting, Ethical Nation spearheaded the development of the NCZ programme.
Working with a series of early adopters, Ethical Nation created the first Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) based carbon management programme in the FM sector to ensure contracted services could be delivered as carbon neutral, and all on-site service-related emissions are reported on a client-by-client basis.
Committed to aiding businesses understand their carbon footprint, through measurement, management, and reduction, by leveraging innovative technology solutions, NCZ officially launched to offer a streamlined and accessible approach for companies in all sectors and geographical regions to embark on their journey to net zero.
Investing in the NCZ portal, enabled carbon footprint assessment and reporting processes to be streamlined. Meaning all organisational, operational and supply-chain emissions can be efficiently managed through each phase of the certification programme.
With the growing number of global clients, NCZ launched successfully into the United Arab Emirates and hosted its first Fringe Event alongside COP28.
The certification programme, plus carbon managed events and services, provides businesses with a competitive edge, commercially, socially, and environmentally.
January saw the world’s first carbon conscious soccer awards event, that NCZ benchmarked and offset in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council and Globe Soccer Awards.
