First off though, we can’t thank everyone enough who contributed to this year’s “Tree in a Million” campaign! Together we’ve planted almost 2000 trees under the expert supervision of our partner The Forest of Marston Vale.
This is part of a bigger effort to complete a new woodland of 65,000 trees by the end of March, in collaboration with Cranfield University. Beyond the immediate benefits of reforestation, the aim is to look ahead at climate change and the next 100 years, to assess different species. Therefore, they’ve added European trees from 2 degrees south into the planting and will be measuring various criteria, from rate of growth to carbon sequestration, to see which are optimal for a thriving woodland in the UK.
Fear not, it’s not too late to get involved, you can sponsor trees in our “Tree in a Million” campaign all year round and just let us know if you’d like a reminder when we open our next planting events…

We’re excited to say team NCZ is growing again! This month, we shine the spotlight on Angel Roble. She joins us as a Customer Success Executive and has already hit the ground running these past few weeks.

Q – What’s your claim to fame?
A – I was known for my passion for dancing, joining student publications and traveling to different countries. I easily influence my friends on my hobbies, style and food preferences; they trust my judgment a lot, it’s crazy!
Q – If you had the opportunity to know the future, would you want to know?
A – As tempting as it sounds, there’s still comfort in not knowing everything. I don’t want to miss out on life’s surprises, lessons, and growth that made me who I am today.
Q – What’s your go-to karaoke song?
A – Through the Fire by Chaka Khan – it’s rather my friends’ go-to song for me but I sing it anyway!
Q – What’s your favourite childhood memory?
A – Travelling by land and sea with my family to visit my grandparents and just having a good day, calm, and comfort, knowing all is well!
Q – Tea or coffee?
A – Coffee all the wayyy!
